Though not really official until the 28th January (Chinese New year) - as this bird is a symbol of dawn and awakening- which would of course imply that success may only be achieved through hard work and patience. So I am guessing that means no more lie ins and a better, more efficient way of sleeping.
I read a study recently that showed people in Japan and Singapore had an average of seven hours and 24 minutes sleep while the people in the Netherlands had eight hours and 12 minutes. People in the UK averaged just under eight hours - a smidgen less than the French. It would seem then that we are all pretty much the same in our night time habits. I am now in search of day time statistics.
We at Connections are looking forward to welcoming this ethic of the rooster much later in the month, in the meantime we are in enjoying hibernation, trying out new menus and sampling more tea and looking forward to adding more workshops to the yearly calendar- it would appear they are rather popular. Looking forward to welcoming our customers back from January 21st we hope this year brings you success and prosperity even if you don't get up so early..........
