Why only weekends?
We opened in August 2011 after a year of design, renovations and careful planning. Currently we operate as a small team, but we hope to expand soon to involve more people who share our mission. The main members are educators and run another business in Nagoya. PLAN opened 15 years ago, a flourishing bespoke school offering small, tailor made courses taught by qualified teachers. We are UK specialists and arrange short and long term study abroad options for those interested. We also offer translation and proof reading services at competitive rates.
In the near future we do hope to open during the week, offering dinner reservations in the evenings.

Can I come by car?
Yes, we have 3 spaces less that one minute around the corner. When these are full we suggest parking at the Gifu Koen parking lot - a pleasant ten minute walk away at only ￥300 for the whole day.
Dietary restrictions
Something you don't like or do you have an allergy? Let us know by contacting us by mail and we will let you know what we can do. Our cooks are sensitive to all issues and take them very seriously. We only say yes if we know we can do it.
Take Away
Currently our registration with Food and Safety does not allow us to offer a take out service. We hope to offer this in the near future especially for our sandwiches and scones
Gift wrapping & coupons
We are happy to wrap, send our specialist tea to anywhere in Japan as a gift. We pack the cans carefully in our custom made boxes. We can also provide coupons for our lunches, cream teas or afternoon tea menus. Please mail us for details.

Who exactly are you?
Out weekend staff consist of three dedicated gourmands.Come and meet us, if we are not so busy we are happy to personally introduce ourselves to you. No pictures, we value the joy factor when people walk through out door. Please come and see it with your own eyes- you will not be disappointed.
Capacity?
We can cater for a total of 25 people here at Connections, all seated comfortably. Most occasions can be catered for so please don't hesitate to ask for more details.
